This site was originally developed for my garage sale items.  We have relocated from Kitsap Mason counties to Clark County city of Battle Ground Washington.  Since I only have few items for sale I don't have much to post so, for now I am using this site more for my log/blog/human interest stories than for garage sales.

RETIRED: Latest update July 2011

We are no longer snow birding to/from Kitsap County Washington and Sacramento County, Calif.  We sold the home in Calif. and also relocated from our home in Port Orchard to Battle Ground Wa.  So technically, we are rain birds now.

I have been retired officially now, over 2-1/2 years.  After 40 plus years of working I have still found out there is a whole new world out here.   I was quick to realize that retirement in reality is putting the last job behind you and going forward to do what you want to do when you want to do it.  I am also trying to figure out how I found time to work with all the stuff I have going on.  LOL

I will add items to my garage sale when I have the need to get rid of excess stuff I no longer need.  My intent is not to collect lots of stuff like before I retired.   When I have excess items I will post them for sale and give you the best possible deal.   This is a neat way to supplement my vacation costs, for which I hope that there will be many.

Helen's web site http://www.lowcarbeats.com/ is online now.   Go visit her home made healthy foods web site for valuable information and recipes for eating healthy.  The web site will continue to grow so look often for more good recipes.   (Check it out)
