They were very smart about where they built their nest, just under the eaves of the outbuilding..

The grass you see in the nest came from my yard. We had cut the grass within two days of these pictures. The mama
bird was sure glad to have the material to be able to finish the nest. It looked like just in time.
I used to sit up on the roof and guard them from predators. It was fun to watch my master take "Picture This" digital photos of them to show me how big they were getting.

bird really liked me. She kept flying around me. One day they were gone. I hope they come back next year. We had fun together.
